Job Description – Clerk / Office Assistant About Samarpan Foundation Trust Samarpan Foundation Trust is a registered NGO working in community healthcare and social welfare programs across 10 states in India. The organization conducts healthcare outreach camps and field activities focused on community health, leprosy care, early cancer detection, health screening, awareness, and related social initiatives. Position Clerk / Office Assistant Key Responsibilities - Perform day-to-day clerical and administrative work at the office and during healthcare camps. - Maintain and organize official files, documents, registers, forms, correspondence, and records. - Enter and update patient, camp, staff, volunteer, and project-related information accurately. - Prepare and maintain daily reports, attendance records, inventory records, and other administrative documents. - Assist in preparing documents, letters, notices, applications, reports, and official correspondence. - Handle basic computer work including MS Word, MS Excel, email, data entry, printing, scanning, and photocopying. - Assist in registration and documentation of beneficiaries/patients during medical camps. - Maintain proper records of medical camps, including attendance, beneficiary details, referrals, and follow-up information. - Coordinate with doctors, nurses, field staff, drivers, volunteers, and administrative personnel. - Assist with arrangements for medical camps, meetings, travel, accommodation, and other organizational activities. - Maintain office supplies, stationery, registers, and basic inventory records. - Receive, record, and distribute official documents and correspondence. - Assist in preparing bills, vouchers, expense records, and supporting documents as assigned. - Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of organizational and patient-related information. - Perform other clerical and administrative duties assigned by the reporting manager. Eligibility & Requirements - Minimum 12th pass; graduates will be preferred. - Basic computer knowledge is required. - Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, will be an advantage. - Good typing, communication, documentation, and organizational skills. - Ability to maintain accurate records and handle multiple tasks efficiently. - Previous experience in an office, NGO, hospital, healthcare organization, or field project will be preferred. - Candidates should be willing to assist with outstation medical camps and field activities when required. Work Location Samarpan Foundation Trust operates healthcare and community-service programs across 10 states in India. The selected candidate may be required to work at the office as well as support documentation and administrative activities during medical camps. Camp Facilities - Food will be provided during outside/outstation camps. - Travel and accommodation arrangements may be provided as per organizational/project policy. Ideal Candidate We are looking for a responsible, organized, computer-literate, and detail-oriented individual who can efficiently manage clerical work, documentation, data entry, and administrative coordination while supporting the organization's healthcare and community-service activities. Position: Clerk / Office Assistant Job Type: Full-time / Project-based Work Area: Office & Medical Camp Operations Travel: May be required for outstation camps across India
