What You'll Do
As an Engineering Manager on BCG's CT GenAI Portfolio, you will serve as the technical and operational lead for enterprise GenAI platform delivery — owning integration architecture, release governance, vendor management, and security oversight — while working with the team of engineers, product analysts, and partnering with global stakeholders to translate BCG's AI strategy into scalable, enterprise-ready solutions.
Release Management: Own end-to-end release governance for the enterprise GenAI platform, risk assessments, deployment readiness, and coordination of release cycles across engineering, security, legal, and business teams.
Integration Architecture & Oversight: Define and govern the integration framework for the GenAI platform, including MCP (Model Context Protocol) architecture, platform interoperability standards, and onboarding design principles — ensuring scalable, secure, and consistent enterprise adoption across BCG.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Product, Security, Legal, and business leaders across CT GenAI and the broader firm to translate BCG's AI strategy into platform-wide, scalable solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
Vendor & Security Management: Lead architecture and security reviews, manage third-party vendor relationships, and ensure all integrations meet BCG's enterprise compliance, audit, and quality standards.
GenAI Capability Enablement: Stay current on GenAI platform developments, new model releases, and emerging integration patterns — acting as an evangelist for capabilities that should be prioritized for BCG's AI roadmap.
Documentation & Governance: Create clear specification documents for platform modifications, integration designs, and new capability additions, maintaining robust audit trails and governance processes.
Team Leadership & Support Operations: Support and manage L2 and L3 GenAI engineering teams, providing technical guidance, overseeing incident escalation and resolution, ensuring SLA adherence, and driving continuous improvement in platform operations and support quality.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 7+ years of experience in enterprise platform engineering, technical program management, or integration architecture.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and platform architecture — including familiarity with AI/GenAI platforms and MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder release programs in large, global enterprise environments.
- Experience leading security and architecture reviews and managing vendor relationships in an enterprise technology context.
- Prior experience in a consulting, platform, or SaaS environment with exposure to enterprise-scale AI or productivity tool implementations is strongly preferred.
- Experience developing and executing comprehensive test plans and release validation frameworks is preferred.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, with the ability to operate effectively across technical and business audiences at a global scale.
- Familiarity with GenAI trends, agentic frameworks, and enterprise AI adoption patterns is preferred.
- Experience working in agile teams and applying agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe), including sprint planning, backlog management, and cross-functional agile ceremonies; familiarity with agile delivery practices in an enterprise platform or engineering context is preferred.
