SAPSOL Technologies is seeking an experienced Technical RFP Proposal Writer – SAP to support SAP, ERP, cloud, managed services, staff augmentation, AI, and digital-transformation opportunities across the United States and Canada.
This is a hands-on proposal role requiring strong technical writing, RFP analysis, compliance management, and document-production skills.
This is not a generic content-writing position.
The successful candidate should be able to independently review complex technology RFPs and convert technical and business inputs into compliant, persuasive, evaluator-friendly, submission-ready proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, RFSQs, tenders, and government solicitations.
- Identify all mandatory, technical, commercial, administrative, legal, and submission requirements.
- Build detailed RFP compliance matrices and requirement checklists.
- Identify pass/fail conditions and potential disqualification risks.
- Map proposal responses directly to RFP evaluation and scoring criteria.
- Draft high-quality technical and business proposal responses.
- Develop compelling executive summaries and value propositions.
- Prepare sections covering:
- Company qualifications
- SAP capabilities
- Technical approach
- Implementation methodology
- Project governance
- Transition and mobilization
- AMS/support models
- Staffing and resource plans
- Service levels
- Risk management
- Quality assurance

- Convert inputs from SAP architects and consultants into clear proposal language.
- Coordinate consultant resumes, certifications, case studies, references, and project experience.
- Review resumes against mandatory RFP qualifications.
- Prepare response matrices showing exactly how each requirement is satisfied.
- Assist with pricing schedules and commercial response documentation.
- Complete government forms, schedules, declarations, and appendices.
- Maintain strict proposal version control.
- Manage page limits, formatting rules, file naming, and submission instructions.
- Prepare professional Microsoft Word and PDF submissions.
- Perform final red-team compliance reviews before submission.
- Verify that every mandatory requirement has been answered and supported.
- Track RFP amendments, addenda, clarification questions, and deadline changes.
- Maintain SAPSOL's reusable proposal content and response library.
- Support shortlist presentations, BAFO responses, clarifications, and oral presentations when required.

Deep SAP configuration expertise is not required, but candidates must understand SAP terminology sufficiently to work effectively with solution architects and consultants.
Mandatory Skills
- 4+ years of RFP, bid, proposal, or technical-writing experience.
- Excellent written English.
- Strong technical-writing capability.
- Experience with IT services, ERP, software, cloud, or digital-transformation proposals.
- Ability to analyze 50–300+ page RFP packages.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills.
- Good Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience creating professional PDF submission packages.
- Ability to independently prepare compliance matrices.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong proofreading and quality-control skills.
- Comfortable working directly with senior executives and technical teams.
- Availability for regular North American business-hours overlap.
Highly Preferred
- Previous SAP proposal experience.
- US municipal, state, county, utility, or public-sector RFP experience.
- Canadian municipal, provincial, utility, education, or public-sector procurement experience.
- Experience with ERP implementation or managed-services proposals.
- Experience working for an SAP Partner or systems integrator.
- APMP or Shipley proposal-management knowledge.
- Experience with government procurement portals.
Working Hours
This is a part-time night-shift position based in India.
Expected commitment:
Approximately 4 hours per working day, Monday–Friday, with flexibility around critical proposal deadlines.
Candidates must be able to provide meaningful overlap with the US and Canadian working day and occasionally support urgent submissions when deadlines require it.

Candidate Assessment
Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a practical RFP exercise.
Candidates may receive a sample technology/public-sector RFP and be asked to prepare:

Compensation
₹35,000–₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and demonstrated capability.
Additional performance incentives may be offered for exceptional proposal performance, shortlisting, and successful contract awards.
