Data Research Specialist : Home Based | Full Time |

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Incentives Data Specialists to join our India team in Delhi, India.

About the role:

The Incentives Data Specialist & Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for sourcing and managing incentives, discounts, vehicle pricing, and scheme data across multiple automotive brands within the local market. This role involves accurately coding and maintaining this information in JATO’s proprietary systems to ensure data integrity and reliability.

The position focuses on delivering high‑quality incentives data and actionable automotive market intelligence through on‑ground field research, CPV analysis, and pricing validation. As an independent and self‑driven professional, the Incentives Data Specialist & SME is expected to manage responsibilities end to end while maintaining strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Incentives & Pricing Operations

Source, analyse, validate, and code OEM and dealer incentive structures across passenger vehicle brands.
Publish accurate incentives and pricing data using JATO proprietary systems.
Liaise with OEMs, manufacturers, and dealers to ensure timely and aligned incentive rollouts.
Monitor data quality, resolve discrepancies, and ensure SLA compliance.
Conduct dealer field visits and on‑ground market research.

Multi‑City Pricing (MCP) Management

Maintain multi‑city on‑road price data, including taxes, RTO, insurance, and dealer charges.
Validate regional price variations and deliver scheduled and ad‑hoc pricing updates.
Support strategic pricing, CPV, and leasing intelligence requirements.

Market Intelligence & Dealer Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer networks across luxury and mass‑market OEMs.
Gather real‑time market intelligence on pricing, policy changes, costs, and supply factors.
Provide actionable insights to support pricing, procurement, and cost‑optimization decisions.

Reporting & Data Excellence

Produce standardized and bespoke reports with strong audit readiness and data accuracy.
Support cross‑functional research, data queries, and market news bulletins.
Drive continuous improvement in data collection, reporting quality, and market insight delivery.
Support product marketing and research initiatives with validated, field‑backed insights.
Travel occasionally for city‑level tax research and market studies.

Key Requirements:

Strong understanding of dealer operations, OEM incentive schemes, on‑road pricing, and road tax structures
High proficiency in data analysis, validation, and quality control with strong attention to detail
Relevant experience in incentives, pricing or automotive market research
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work independently with regular field‑based engagement
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant discipline
Automotive industry exposure preferred; additional language skills are an advantage
Proactive, inquisitive, and quality‑driven mindset
