We are looking for a passionate and experienced South Indian Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team.

Job Summary
The South Indian CDP will be responsible for preparing authentic South Indian cuisine while ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, hygiene, and kitchen operations. The candidate should be capable of handling busy service operations in a professional hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present authentic South Indian dishes including dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, sambar, chutneys, rasam, biryani, and regional specialties.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation standards.
- Handle mise en place and manage smooth kitchen operations during breakfast, lunch, buffet, and à la carte service.
- Monitor food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety standards.
- Supervise commis chefs and kitchen assistants in the assigned section.
- Maintain proper storage and inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control practices.
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team for menu planning and daily operations.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery during peak service hours.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in South Indian kitchen operations.
- Experience in hotels, resorts, or fine dining restaurants preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern South Indian cuisine.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Good team management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts is an added advantage.
