Full job description

Job Summary

An Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall accounting operations of the organization. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily accounting activities including journal entries, ledger posting, and reconciliations
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Prepare invoices, bills, and expense reports
Maintain and update financial records and documentation
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Support audits by providing required documentation and reports
Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting
Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for financial matters

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance (can vary by company)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP)
Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

Professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, CPA)
Experience in taxation (GST, VAT, or local tax regulations)
Familiarity with ERP systems
