Job Description

Job Title: Test Engineer – Wealth Management System

Location: Ghatkopar, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual functional testing of wealth management systems (Wealth Spectrum, Miles Software, Finacle WMS, Valuefy. Intellect Etc .
Understand business and operational workflows for Equity, Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Bonds (Fixed Income), and Insurance.
Report, Client portal and RM Portal verification of various analytic reports and calculations.
Create and execute test cases, report defects, and track issues using test management tools.
Ensure Traceability between Requirement, Test scenario & Test cases, and Defect.
Participate in SIT, UAT, Data Migration (User Acceptance Testing) and Post Go live support for Production Ticket and Change request.
Apply domain knowledge in areas like portfolio reconciliation, transactions, NAV validation, and compliance reporting.
Contribute to test documentation and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1–5 years of experience in wealth/portfolio operations, financial services, or IT support.
Understanding of wealth management products — Equity, Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Insurance, Bonds, etc.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with an interest in software testing and quality assurance.
Willingness to undergo training in manual testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with PMS or wealth management tools (Wealth Spectrum, Miles Software, Finacle WMS or similar).
Basic understanding of SDLC/STLC and software testing concepts.

Knowledge of SEBI, RBI, FATCA, and other wealth management regulations.

KRA for Junior Level - Senior / Lead Level – Wealth Management System

? 1–4 Years Experience (Junior Level)

Key Result Areas
Execute manual test cases for wealth management platforms such as Wealth Spectrum, Miles Software, Finacle WMS, Valuefy, and Intellect.
Understand and validate workflows for Equity, Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Bonds, and Insurance.
Perform functional testing for Client Portal and RM Portal, including report validation.
Identify, log, and track defects with proper documentation.
Ensure basic traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
Support SIT and UAT cycles under supervision.
Validate basic calculations such as NAV, transactions, and holdings.
Assist in data validation during migration activities.
Maintain test documentation and execution reports.

? 5–8 Years Experience (Mid-Level)

Independently design and execute test scenarios and test cases across modules.
Lead SIT, UAT, and data migration testing activities.

Portfolio reconciliation
NAV calculations
Transaction lifecycle
Compliance reporting
Validate complex reports, analytics, and calculations in Client & RM portals.
Ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements, test scenarios, test cases, and defects.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders for defect resolution.
Provide production support for issues, change requests, and enhancements.
Mentor junior testers and review their test cases and defect logs.
Contribute to test strategy, planning, and process improvements.

Ensure high-quality validation across platforms like Wealth Spectrum, WMS, Valuefy, and Intellect.
Oversee SIT, UAT, production releases, and post-go-live support.
Drive validation of complex areas:
Multi-asset portfolio management
Advanced analytics & reporting
Regulatory compliance (SEBI, RBI, FATCA)
Manage stakeholder communication and align testing with business goals.
Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and QA best practices.
Review and approve test plans, scenarios, and defect management processes.
Lead and mentor teams, ensuring productivity and quality standards.
Handle risk management, escalation handling, and decision-making for critical releases.
