We are currently seeking a Lead Python AI Developer to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).
Job Title: Lead Python AI Developer
Experience Required:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development
- 2+ years of practical experience working with Generative AI / AI-ML solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Python-based AI/ML and GenAI applications
- Architect and implement scalable, high-performance solutions using Python
- Build, fine-tune, and integrate AI/ML models, including Generative AI use cases
- Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain high standards of code quality
- Mentor and guide junior developers and contribute as a technical lead
- Drive innovation by evaluating new AI tools, frameworks, and technologies
Required Skills Qualifications:
- Very strong Python fundamentals (OOP, data structures, design patterns, performance optimization)
- Proven experience in AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and model development
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, including LLMs and prompt engineering
- Experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and backend development
- Experience with data processing, model integration, and deployment pipelines
- Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
Good to Have:
- Prior Tech Lead or Team Lead experience in Python projects
- Experience with MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring
- Exposure to vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
