Full job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts & Taxation professional with strong expertise in accounting, GST compliance, taxation, SAP, and MIS reporting. The incumbent will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, GST incentives, audit coordination, and financial reporting while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Accounting & Financial Operations

Review and scrutinize Trial Balance and ensure timely closure of books of accounts.
Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
Monitor and process Accounts Payable, including vendor payments, TDS, GST, salary, incentives, and other statutory payments.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Maintain accounting records and documentation for internal controls and audits.

GST & Taxation

Handle GST compliance, including filing of returns and reconciliation of GST data.
Process GST incentive claims and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
Manage refund claims and coordinate with authorities for approvals and settlements.
Ensure compliance with GST Act, Customs regulations, notifications, circulars, and amendments.

Audit & Compliance

Coordinate with Internal and Statutory Auditors for smooth completion of audits.
Ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance requirements.

MIS & Data Analysis

Prepare and analyze MIS reports for management review.
Track SAP transactions and identify process improvement opportunities.
Maintain and monitor financial data using Excel and Power BI tools.
Analyze business and operational data to support decision-making.

Inventory & CAPEX Management

Monitor and reconcile shipping, transportation, and inventory-related data.
Track CAPEX capitalization and ensure proper accounting treatment.
Maintain CAPEX master data and ensure compliance with incentive-related requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of Accounting, Book Closure, and Financial Finalization.
Hands-on experience in SAP FICO, MM, and SD modules.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI.
Strong understanding of GST, Indirect Taxation, and Customs regulations.
Experience in GST Incentive processing and refund claim management.
Knowledge of statutory compliance, audit processes, and financial controls.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
