About Young Innovators
Young Innovators is a pioneering Edu-tech company dedicated to transforming today’s educational environment through the implementation of STEM education, utilizing our signature "exploratory-based learning" methodology. Through our unique teaching approaches and meticulously designed products, we lead the education sector in empowering learners to excel in an increasingly competitive global landscape. Our diverse range of programs caters to learners irrespective of their age and abilities, crafted by an expert team of passionate educators, experienced engineers, and creative designers.
About the Role
We are looking for passionate individuals who want to move beyond textbook teaching to actively shape minds, spark curiosity, and build the future. As an Electronics STEM Educator, you will create a dynamic classroom environment where students can explore core scientific concepts, design functional circuits, and tackle real-world engineering problems. While our comprehensive hands-on modules span Electronics, Astronomy, Aeromodelling, and Robotics, your primary specialized focus will be guiding students through foundational circuitry, hardware fabrication, and microcontrollers, empowering them to become confident, active creators.
Delivering STEM Through Hands-On Disciplines
We believe true STEM education is best delivered through immersive, project-based applications rather than theoretical lectures. As an educator for Grades 5-10, you will lead our specialized Electronics Track as a practical vehicle to teach core scientific and engineering concepts. You will demystify abstract physical principles by guiding students from breadboard prototyping to physical hardware fabrication, showing them exactly how components interact to create smart, real-world technologies.
Key Responsibilities1. Classroom Delivery & Student Engagement
- Teach and Inspire: Deliver high-energy, engaging STEM programs with a focus on Electronics, ensuring complex concepts (like Ohm’s law, sensor logic, and signal flows) are accessible, visual, and exciting.
- Hands-on Facilitation: Design and lead interactive lab sessions, circuit building challenges, and hardware experiments that bring theoretical physics and electronics to life.
- Cultivate Thinking: Actively encourage creativity, critical thinking, and logical troubleshooting among students as they debug their circuit connections.
2. Mentorship & Project Guidance
- Guide Young Innovators: Serve as a dedicated mentor, helping students brainstorm, prototype, and build their own functional electronic products and hardware applications.
- Differentiated Learning: Adapt your technical explanations to meet the needs of diverse learners, ensuring every child feels supported and capable in their engineering journey.
- Maintain Safety: Ensure a safe, organized, and collaborative environment during all practical experiments, particularly when handling electronic components, tools, and hardware kits.
3. Program Execution & Collaboration
- Collaborate for Impact: Work closely with our passionate team of educators, curriculum developers, and school administrations to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Session Planning: Prepare for daily sessions by reviewing curriculum materials, testing circuit configurations, organizing physical hardware/component kits, and setting up classroom tools.
- Track Progress: Monitor student participation, experimental outcomes, and project milestones, providing constructive feedback to help them continuously improve.
Work Structure
- Work Timings: Office hours are typically between 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, depending on school schedules and travel; 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday.
- School Days: Depends on the number of schools assigned.
