Join a high-performing team for an NYC-based custom apparel company

Fresh Prints is a New York-based custom-printed apparel company. We partner with talented students, providing them with the capital, training, and support to build apparel businesses on their campuses.

About the Role

The Finance Team manages all cash inflows and outflows at Fresh Prints. As a Collections Manager, you will be responsible for managing and improving the systems and performance of our receivables function.

This is a high-impact role focused on driving revenue realization and ensuring strong cash flow discipline across the business. You will own collections performance, build scalable processes, and lead a team responsible for recovering outstanding payments efficiently and professionally.

What You'll Do

As a member of our Finance Team, you're going to have wide-ranging responsibilities and goals. On a day-to-day basis, this means:

Lead and manage a team of 2–5 Collections Associates
Own end-to-end collections operations (inbound & outbound follow-ups, payment tracking, dispute resolution)
Drive improvements in:
- Set, track, and optimize team performance metrics
- Manage customer and vendor communication for payment recovery
- Handle escalations and resolve complex or sensitive cases
Build and improve collections workflows, systems, and SOPs
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Operations
Ensure accurate reporting of daily, weekly, and monthly collections data

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Finance, Collections, Accounts Receivable, or Operations/Project Management in fast-paced environments
2+ years of experience managing a team (ideally 2 to 5 people)
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both written and verbal, especially for difficult conversations)

Core Skills: Must-Have

Strong data orientation (Excel, dashboards, tracking metrics)
Ability to define and track key metrics such as:
- Collections efficiency
- Agent productivity
- Call volume and conversion
Proven ability to improve processes or workflows
Strong ownership and execution mindset
Ability to make decisions independently and move fast

Nice-to-Have

Experience in B2C collections or high-volume customer operations
Exposure to CRM or ticketing tools
Experience implementing or improving collections tools
Background in finance, revenue operations, or customer success

Success in this Role Looks Like

Improved collections % and recovery timelines
Clear visibility into metrics and performance
Scalable, efficient collections processes

Job Location: Work From Home / Remote

Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST (US Timings), Monday to Friday

Monthly Salary: Competitive salary, depending on experience
