We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on finance leader to own the full finance function for a growing U.S.-based packaging / product‑driven business. This role combines end‑to‑end accounting ownership with FP&A leadership and serves as the primary strategic finance partner to the President.
This is a high‑impact individual contributor role with broad visibility and influence. You will run day‑to‑day financial operations, deliver clear and actionable insights, and help prepare the business for its next stage of scale—including future MRP/ERP implementation.

What You’ll Own
Financial Planning, Analysis & Decision Support
- Lead company‑wide budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts, and long‑range financial planning
- Perform cash flow planning, scenario analysis, and sensitivity modeling to support growth and risk management
- Analyze margins, costs, pricing, and profitability across products and packaging operations
- Develop and refine KPIs used by leadership to run the business
- Prepare executive‑level reporting, dashboards, and financial narratives for leadership decision‑making
- Serve as a trusted strategic finance partner to the President and leadership team, providing proactive, data‑driven guidance
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Own and continuously improve end‑to‑end accounting operations using QuickBooks
- Ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP‑compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting, and product costing
- Strengthen accounting policies, procedures, documentation, and internal controls
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals; review income, sales, and other applicable tax filings
- Ensure financial data integrity, confidentiality, and proper record retention
Packaging, Systems & Scale Readiness
- Own product and packaging cost structures, inventory accuracy, and related financial processes
- Partner closely with operations to align financial reporting with packaging workflows and materials usage
- Support preparation for future MRP/ERP integration, including data readiness, reporting requirements, and process alignment
- Improve financial visibility across SKUs, materials, and operational drivers
What We’re Looking For
- CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional finance qualification
- 5+ years of post‑qualification, hands‑on experience owning both accounting and FP&A
- Direct experience supporting a U.S.-based packaging or product‑driven business
- Strong understanding of inventory, product costing, and operational finance
- Advanced, hands‑on experience with QuickBooks and exposure to MRP/ERP systems or implementations
- Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly with senior leadership
