Job Summary
The Credit Control Executive at Café Desire is a critical role responsible for the entire "Order-to-Cash" lifecycle. You will ensure 100% accurate and timely invoicing, efficient submission across diverse portals, and the rigorous collection of receivables across all business verticals. Your mission is to maintain a healthy cash flow, control credit exposure through proactive risk management, and provide high-quality MIS reporting to the leadership team.
What is Expected From You
(Key Responsibilities)
1. Invoicing Management (All Verticals)
● Generate high-accuracy invoices for:
○ Direct Credit Customers: Corporate, IT, Hospitals, and Manufacturing sectors.
○ Service Invoices & Tri-party Agreements.
○ GeM Sales (Government E-Marketplace).
● Ensure all invoicing is completed within strict timelines (T+1 / T+2 basis).
● Maintain absolute accuracy and completeness in all billing documentation.
2. Invoice Submission & Tracking
● Ensure timely submission of invoices through appropriate channels: Email, Customer Portals, or Physical Hard Copies.
● Systematically track acknowledgments and maintain foolproof submission records.
● Proactively resolve any discrepancies or rejections raised by customers to prevent payment delays.
3. Payment Collection & Receivables Management
● Conduct persistent follow-ups with customers to ensure the timely release of payments. ● Monitor receivables against agreed credit terms and maintain strict control over overdue accounts.
● Act as the primary point of contact to coordinate with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve billing or payment disputes.
4. Credit Control & Risk Management
● Monitor customer credit limits daily and ensure total compliance with company policies.
● Identify, highlight, and escalate cases of credit limit breaches immediately.
● Support management in decision-making regarding credit approvals and extensions.
● Communicate credit terms and limits clearly and professionally to all customers.
5. Professional Customer Communication
● Draft and execute professional email communications for:
○ Payment follow-ups and outstanding reminders.
○ Credit limit notifications.
● Maintain a structured, disciplined follow-up mechanism and escalate critical overdue cases to the Director/Accounts Head in a timely manner.
6. MIS, Reporting & Aging Analysis
● Prepare and share comprehensive reports including:
○ Customer-wise outstanding reports and Vertical-wise summaries.
○ Detailed Aging Analysis (0–30 / 31–60 / 61–90 / 90+ days).
○ Collection performance and efficiency reports.
● Provide data-driven insights on high-risk or chronically delayed accounts.
7. Compliance & Process Adherence
● Ensure all documentation complies with company policies, GeM norms, and tri-party billing requirements.
● Maintain organized and accessible records for audits and internal reviews.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
● Timely Execution: Invoicing and submission within defined Turnaround Time (TAT).
● Collection Efficiency: Percentage of collections made within the agreed credit period.
● DSO Improvement: Measurable reduction in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
● Overdue Control: Minimizing the volume of receivables in the 60+ and 90+ day brackets. ● Accuracy: Maintaining zero or minimal billing errors and rejections.
Ideal Candidate (Requirements)
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience: 2–5 years of core experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable (AR).
3. Technical Skills: * Good understanding of billing processes, including the GeM platform. a. Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced) and ERP systems.
4. Core Competencies: * Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
a. High attention to detail and accountability.
b. Exceptional time management and financial discipline.
5. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional customer handling.
6. Preferred Background: Experience in B2B collections, service billing, or industries like FMCG and Vending.

● Net Revenue Growth (Month-on-Month).
● Conversion Rate (CVR) improvement across the store.
● Average Order Value (AOV) increase through effective bundling/upselling.
● Revenue Per Visitor (RPV) optimization.
