The Department of Media & Journalism nested under the Faculty of Communication, offers specializations in Advertising & Branding, Digital Marketing & Communications, Film & Television Management and Journalism. The Faculty of Communication at FLAME University is inviting applications for the position of full-time Professor in Advertising & Branding.
While we welcome applicants from any area of Advertising & Branding ,we are particularly interested in applicants with an expertise in areas such as Introduction to Advertising, Marketing & Advertising, Brand & Product Management, Marketing Research & Analytics, Consumer & Audience Behaviour, Advertising Strategy, Brand Planning, Innovative Marketing, Retail Marketing and Communication, Luxury Brand Management Corporate Communication and Reputation Management.
Those with a mix of experience in academia and industry will be preferred. A Ph.D. from a reputed university is required at the time of application. A minimum of thirteen years of experience in universities/colleges as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates. Fifteen research publications out of which five are in high-quality journals.
Faculty responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching, advising students, participating in faculty colloquia, and academic administration. Our expectation is that a successful applicant will:
1. Undertake independent high-quality research as well as work actively with existing members to build a strong interdisciplinary community of scholars who are committed to delivering cutting-edge research and innovation
2. Translate research findings into evidence-based practices, programs and policies
