Application Development Senior Analyst - HIH - Evernorth
Responsibilities:
- Workforce planning and analysis: Analyzing current and projected staffing levels, identifying skill gaps, and root causes of issues by analyzing patterns and trends and forecasting future workforce needs to optimize deployment strategies.
- Talent allocation: Matching employee skills and experience to specific projects or roles, considering factors like workload, availability, and performance.
- Staffing optimization: Identifying areas of overstaffing or understaffing and taking proactive measures to redeploy employees as needed and implementing improvements related to scheduling and staffing functions.
- Project staffing: Collaborating with project managers to determine the appropriate staff composition for new projects and initiatives.
- Employee redeployment: Facilitating the movement of employees to different teams or locations based on changing business priorities.
- Data analysis and reporting: Generating reports on workforce utilization, staffing gaps, and employee performance metrics to inform decision-making.
- Collaboration with HR: Working closely with HR to manage employee transfers, promotions, and terminations, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Change management: Communicating workforce deployment changes to employees and providing support during transitions.
- Required skills for a workforce deployment specialist: Analytical skills: Strong ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and make informed decisions based on workforce metrics.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively convey deployment plans and updates to stakeholders.
- Project management skills: Process updates submitted by internal customers within department turnaround time expectations of less than 48 hours and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Business acumen: Create standard SOP’s related to job role and to drive process improvement. Understand business objectives and how workforce deployment can contribute to strategic goals.
- HR knowledge: Familiarity with HR policies, practices, and employment laws.
- Technical proficiency: Proficiency with workforce management software and data analysis tools. Acts with a sense of urgency.Ensure attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain key relationships across the company and the Client’s organization.
Education:
Any bachelor’s degree
Experience:
2- 4 years of experience in Workforce Management.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office software, specifically Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, macros)
- Demonstrated experience with Workforce Management software (Aspect WFM, Verint, NICE, etc or any other tool)
- Demonstrated knowledge/experience Java, Angular JS, and AWS
- Innovative thinker with strong communication skills
- Proven ability to perform in-depth data analysis and present insights in a clear manner
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, contribute solutions
- Ability to prioritize and meet timelines and deadlines
