Job Summary
Globex Scientific LLP is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive sales growth, generate new business opportunities, and strengthen relationships with customers across research laboratories, pharmaceutical companies, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, promoting scientific and laboratory solutions, and achieving sales targets through effective business development activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and outbound prospecting.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers.
- Conduct client visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and virtual meetings.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Promote and sell laboratory equipment, scientific instruments, consumables, and related solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with customers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to identify additional business opportunities.
- Address customer inquiries and coordinate with technical teams for product support.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
- Gather customer feedback and provide insights to management.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in CRM systems.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Track sales forecasts and business development performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, scientific equipment sales, laboratory products, or industrial sales.
- Freshers with strong communication and business acumen may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, scientific instruments, or life science products is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development activities.
