Position Description:
The MQ Engineering Delivery team engage and work in partnership with the Global business central and site representatives to identify the business needs, understand the business/site priorities, enable the manufacturing sites/stakeholders with the latest technologies understanding the positioning of the different solutions/technologies and provide the right solutions for Manufacturing and Quality. This role is responsible for the architecture, design, solutioning and support of IT tools (Global and Local solutions with potential globalization opportunities) that support the Global Manufacturing.
A key role in the MQ Engineering Delivery in the manufacturing and quality organization is the Manufacturing Maximo Architect position. This position will have primary responsibility to engage with our Global Teams and Site-specific teams to understand and deliver manufacturing solutions that integrate on-premise and cloud Global assets to deliver business capabilities and value. This role will report to the LCCI Manufacturing Solutions Lead – Senior Team Leader.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Engage and partner with IDS representation from Manufacturing Sites, Manufacturing Business Process Architects, third party solution delivery providers, and Solution Architects to understand the business problem and enhance/ develop the appropriate solution leveraging the modern tech stack
- Will be responsible for implementing and supporting, Asset Lifecycle Information Management (ALIM)
- Conduct Discovery Workshops, contribute to build solution architecture and prepare Functional Design Specifications.
- Managing technical decomposition of user requests and features into deliverables/tasks for the development team to execute during sprints along with analyzing and assessing the impact of system changes.
- Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives for manufacturing solutions.
- Supports users by developing required documentation and user-guides
- Solutions developed should adhere to data integrity principles
- Ensure compliance to Lilly privacy and security standards and Quality rules.
- Be an active learner. Stay abreast of tools and technologies to influence IT strategy so that it provides best usage opportunities for business.
Basic Requirements:
- 12 years of experience in IBM Maximo EAM application suite.
- At least 6 years of strong experience in leading IBM Maximo implementations and upgrade Projects
- At least 2-3 full cycle implementations of IBM Maximo EAM, with hands on experience on functionalities including requirement gathering, design, development, testing & training, deployment, hyper care support.
- Maximo MAS 8.x implementation and upgrade experience will be preferred. Or 7.6 x Implementation
- Should have good understanding and hands on experience & Functional understanding of EAM modules such as Asset management, contract management, Procurement processes, Work Request, Work Order, Planning and Scheduling. Inventory Management, workflow management, configuration management.
- Implementation & Support experience of Maximo Anywhere will be preferred.
- Good understanding of the capabilities and functioning of IOT, and hands on experience IOT for APM, condition monitoring or any other processes will be required.
- Exposure or hands on experience of AI, AR/VR in Maximo Projects will be big plus.
- Experience in resolving issues w.r.t Asset Maintenance, WO process, Anywhere, Automation scripts.
- Need experience in integration of IBM Maximo with third party applications like SAP, Oracle or any ERP tool is must. Should have at least one project where integration was part of scope.
- Must have hands on experience working on MBO customizations and Bean level customizations
- Highly skilled in MIF – REST APIs, SOAP Webservices, HTTP Integration etc.
- Exposure or hands on experience of Java programming language and SQL
- Exposure or hands on experience of using Migration Manager
- Staying inquisitive, building fresh perspectives, demonstrating eagerness to learn and discover in a team setup
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills to gather client requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Maximo 8 Certification will be added advantage
- Understanding of Cost Simulation, Cost rollup feature, Inventory ABC Analysis, Cycle Counting,
- System administration (responsibilities, Menus, Functions, Users and Security profiles).
- Responsibilities:
- Should independently lead Projects – Implementations, Upgrade projects
- Should provide support in presales, client presentations, POC’s
- Should work on RFP’s, solutioning to support pre-sales team
- Ability to manage timelines, communications, escalations
- Should help mentoring junior team members in terms of knowledge sharing
- Work closely with Practice team to grow Maximo skill set among team and grow practice.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree (or equivalent work experience) in computer science, information technology, or management information systems.
Other Information:
Travel to US or other Lilly entities may be required.
