Senior Data Engineer – SAP, Data Engineering & Cloud IntegrationLocation: India (Remote)Experience: 6+ YearsSalary: 25 LPAType: FulltimeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Solutions Architect to design and deliver large-scale enterprise systems for a leading retail technology platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in architecting complex data ecosystems, integrating legacy ERP platforms (SAP) with modern cloud technologies, and working directly with customers to define scalable business solutions.This role requires a hands-on architect who can engage with customers, design enterprise-grade solutions, guide engineering teams, and drive successful implementations.Key Responsibilities* Design and architect enterprise-scale solutions involving ERP systems, cloud platforms, data platforms, and SaaS applications.* Define end-to-end system architecture for inventory, supply chain, procurement, and retail operations.* Architect large-scale data flows between SAP and modern cloud ecosystems.* Lead customer discovery sessions, solution workshops, architecture reviews, and technical discussions.* Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation roadmaps.* Design integration frameworks using APIs, messaging systems, event-driven architectures, and data pipelines.* Collaborate with engineering teams to build and deploy enterprise solutions.* Drive cloud modernization and data platform transformation initiatives.* Provide technical leadership during customer onboarding, implementation, and production rollout.* Create architecture documents, solution blueprints, and integration strategies.Required Skills* 12+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Data Architecture.* Strong experience with SAP ecosystems (ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Integration, SAP Data Flows, SAP APIs, IDocs, BAPIs, SAP CPI/PI-PO preferred).* Deep expertise in Data Engineering and large-scale data integration.* Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, ETL/ELT, Data Pipelines, and Streaming Platforms.* Strong cloud experience on GCP, AWS, or Azure.* Experience designing integrations between legacy enterprise systems and modern cloud platforms.* Strong understanding of API architecture, event-driven systems, and enterprise integration patterns.* Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.* Ability to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills* Experience in Retail, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, OMS, WMS, or Procurement platforms.* Experience with Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Looker, and Cloud Data Fusion.* Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.* Exposure to AI, Analytics, Data Governance, and Data Mesh architectures.What We're Looking For* Strong customer-facing architect who can confidently interact with business leaders and technical teams.* Ability to own solutioning from architecture through implementation.* Hands-on mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.* Experience working with multiple enterprise customers and complex integration environments.* Ability to mentor teams and drive architecture best practices.Nice to Have* Retail inventory visibility and virtual inventory management experience.* SAP modernization and cloud migration programs.* Pre-sales, consulting, or architecture advisory experience.
