Job Title: Software Engineering Intern (AI-First Cloud & Data Platform)

About Truvant Consulting:

Truvant Consulting is a premier Data and Business Intelligence (BI) firm specializing in enterprise-grade analytics (Azure Synapse, Fabric, Snowflake, SQL, Power BI). We are currently building a cutting-edge, proprietary software solution to package our data expertise into a commercial Independent Software Vendor (ISV) application destined for the global Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

About the Internship:

Duration: 3 to 6 Months
Stipend: ₹10,000 / month
Perks: Internship Certificate, Flexible work hours, and a strong possibility of extension / Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) for high performers.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

Build End-to-End Features: Assist in developing a web application that connects to enterprise data platforms (Azure SQL, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric) to automatically scan, detect, and mask sensitive PHI/PII data.
Integrate AI Pipelines: Work on connecting backend services with NLP frameworks (like Microsoft Presidio) and LLM APIs to intelligently classify database schemas.
Azure Marketplace Integration: Help package this application as an ISV solution, working with Azure deployment templates (ARM/Bicep) and marketplace integration APIs to prepare it for commercial launch.
Collaborate in an AI-First Environment: Write, optimize, and review code alongside our team. We love to "co-code" with Claude. You are fully encouraged to leverage AI to accelerate development, generate boilerplate, and brainstorm architectural patterns.
Maintain Data Integrity: Write scripts and queries that interact with cloud databases, ensuring metadata is fetched efficiently and masking algorithms preserve referential integrity.
Test & Refine: Build robust unit tests and handle asynchronous background tasks (using Celery/Redis) to ensure the platform scales smoothly.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements & Mindset):

The "AI + Core Engineering" Balance: We don't want you wasting time writing boilerplate from scratch—we expect you to use AI coding assistants to move fast. However, AI is your assistant, not your crutch. You must possess the foundational coding skills to deeply understand what the AI generates, spot logic flaws, and debug issues entirely on your own when the AI gets stuck or hallucinates.
Strong Python & SQL Fundamentals: Solid proficiency in Python (FastAPI/Flask) and a strong grasp of SQL (understanding schemas, joins, and database connectivity).
Frontend Basics: Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Vue) to help build clean, interactive data dashboards.
Cloud Curiosity: Basic understanding of or keen interest in Microsoft Azure ecosystem, SaaS architectures, and data engineering.
Problem-Solving Grit: A sharp analytical mind that cares about data security, privacy, and building clean, maintainable software.
