Job Description: Python Developer (3 Years Experience)

Position: Python Developer

Experience Level: 3+ Years

About the Role

We are looking for a Python Developer with at least 3 years of experience in backend development and practical exposure to server deployment and cloud environments. You will be responsible for building scalable applications, managing server deployments, and ensuring smooth operation across development, staging, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Python Development

Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Python.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code.
Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
Work with relational or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams.

Server Deployment & DevOps

Deploy Python applications on Linux-based servers (Ubuntu/Debian).
Manage deployments using Gunicorn/Uvicorn + Nginx (for Django/FastAPI/Flask).
Set up and manage virtual environments, requirements, and process managers (Supervisor/Systemd).
Configure and maintain servers on:
- DigitalOcean, AWS EC2, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.
Work with Docker for containerizing applications.
Automate deployments using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor server performance and logs (using tools like PM2, Supervisor, or cloud monitoring tools).
Implement basic security practices (firewalls, SSH keys, SSL certificates, fail2ban, etc.).

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Python 3+.
Experience with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, and best practices.
Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
Knowledge of REST API development.
Hands-on knowledge of Linux server environments.
Experience deploying applications using Gunicorn/Uvicorn + Nginx.
Proficiency with Git and version-control workflows.
Basic understanding of Docker and containerization.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Good to Have

Experience with DigitalOcean Droplets, AWS EC2, or Kubernetes.
Understanding of asynchronous programming (AsyncIO).
Basic front-end understanding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Knowledge of load balancing, caching, and horizontal scaling.
Experience with Redis, Celery, or message queues.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry).

Qualification – B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, BCA
