The candidate will act as a frontline site supervisor responsible for supervising electrical installation works at project sites. The role involves monitoring electrical labour teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring proper execution of electrical services including conduiting, cable laying, wiring, panel installations, and associated electrical infrastructure.
The position will work closely with MEP Electrical Engineers, civil execution teams, and finishing teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of electrical works.
Supervise conduiting works, cable laying, wiring, and electrical installations at site.
Ensure electrical works are carried out as per approved electrical drawings and instructions from engineers.
Monitor daily progress of electrical installation works across assigned areas.
Manage and supervise electricians, helpers, and electrical labour teams.
Ensure proper deployment of manpower, tools, and materials for electrical works.
Maintain discipline and productivity among electrical teams.
Coordinate with MEP Electrical Engineers and civil execution teams to ensure proper sequencing of electrical works.
Ensure conduiting and embedded electrical works are completed before concreting and finishing stages.
Report execution issues or delays to engineers for resolution.
Ensure electrical installations meet required quality and workmanship standards.
Monitor proper routing of conduits, cable trays, wiring connections, and electrical fittings.
Identify defects or improper installations and inform engineers for corrective action.
Ensure safe handling and installation of electrical equipment and cables.
Ensure workers follow electrical safety guidelines and site safety procedures.
Maintain safe practices during installation and testing of electrical systems.
Track availability of electrical materials such as conduits, cables, junction boxes, and accessories at site.
Inform engineers about material shortages or site requirements.
Provide daily updates on electrical work progress, labour strength, and material requirements.
Report site challenges, delays, or safety concerns to the MEP Electrical Engineer.
Practical knowledge of electrical installation works in building construction
Experience handling electricians and electrical labour teams
Basic understanding of electrical drawings and installation layouts (preferred)
Ability to manage multiple electrical work fronts at site
Strong labour supervision and coordination skills
Good understanding of building electrical installation practices
Ability to work in fast-paced high-rise construction environments
Practical problem-solving ability at the site level
