About Koonja

Koonja is an early-stage healthy food startup building a ready-to-cook premix brand for working professionals and students, situated in South Delhi. We are setting up our cloud kitchen operations and looking for skilled kitchen staff to join our growing team.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Commis 2 to support daily kitchen operations at Koonja’s cloud kitchen. This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates who are eager to learn, work with discipline, and grow within a fast-moving food startup environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of Indian cuisine dishes as per Koonja’s recipes and portioning standards
Pack and seal food items accurately for delivery orders, ensuring quality and presentation
Follow food manufacturing SOPs for all kitchen tasks
Receive, inspect, and organise supply deliveries in the kitchen storage area
Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

0–1 year of kitchen or food industry experience (freshers from hotel management / culinary programmes encouraged to apply)
Basic knowledge of Indian cuisine and food preparation
Careful and detail-oriented when it comes to packing, sealing, and food handling
Willingness to follow processes and take direction from senior kitchen staff
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
