Key accountabilities
1) Digital strategy & portfolio ownership
-
Own the AMEA digital strategy across grower, field force, channel, and commercial personas, aligned to AMEA LT and RMLT must-win priorities.

Consolidate CU digital priorities into a coherent annual plan and represent it to senior leadership.

Lead the AMEA 2.0 Digital agenda, including transformational AI use cases embedded within products.

Build and steward the annual digital budget across global recharges, regional projects, and AI initiatives.
2) Product leadership
-
Lead the digital product portfolio, including:

Grower platforms (Cropwise)
-
Field force tools (SmartAgro Lite, SFDC-based products)
-
Channel platforms (Syngenta Connect)
-
CXM platforms and AI/lead-generation engines
-
Set product vision, roadmap, and north-star metrics; drive alignment through Monthly Product & Engineering Connects.

Structure and drive POCs, feature decisions, and integrations (e.g., Scan-to-Leads, lead handover engine).
3) Stakeholder & commercial alignment
-
Serve as the primary digital interface to AMEA CU Leads and CLTs to shape and validate digital investments.

Partner with global digital teams (Commercial and ITD) to align priorities and execution.

Manage strategic external partnerships.
-
Navigate Finance (recharges), Legal and Privacy (cross-border compliance, T&Cs), and Global Digital stakeholders.
4) Team leadership & talent
-
Lead a multi-disciplinary team of Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Digital Specialists across CP, Field Crop, and Veg Seeds.

Drive hiring, promotions, work-level changes, and NFTE extensions within Syngenta HR governance.
-
Run intern programs and academic partnerships.
5) AI adoption & capability building
-
Champion AI platform adoption (Lynx, Copilot) across AMEA; productize validated use cases.
-
Identify, test, and scale AI use cases across market research, content creation, and intelligent decision support embedded in live products.
Knowledge, experience & capabilities
Required experience
-
15+ years in digital product management, product strategy, or digital transformation; agri-business/FMCG/related sectors preferred.
-
Proven track record owning a multi-product digital portfolio across diverse geographies, ideally AMEA markets.
-
Hands-on experience with budget planning, senior stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional commercial negotiations.
-
Exposure to agri-tech platforms, grower-facing tools, or precision agriculture ecosystems is a strong advantage.
Knowledge
-
Full digital product lifecycle: strategy, discovery, delivery, adoption, and iteration.
-
AI/ML use cases in commercial or agricultural contexts; ability to prioritize based on business value.
-
AMEA data privacy regulations (e.g., India, Singapore, Vietnam) and implications for platform deployment.

Sustainability digital tools and ESG reporting in agriculture (advantageous).

Qualifications
