Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–3 years (or strong internship background)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing social media content for Zingy Gifts and our agency clients.

You don't need to be a pro shooter – we have a videographer for that. But you must:

Plan creative content calendars
Edit engaging Reels and Shorts
Manage social media accounts (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
Stay on top of trends and execute fast

If you love storytelling and can turn a simple product into a scroll-stopping video – we want to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities

Content Planning

Create monthly content calendars for Zingy Gifts and agency clients
Brainstorm 10–15 fresh reel ideas every week based on trending audio, formats, and products
Align content with brand goals and campaign calendars

Video Editing & Production

Edit high-quality vertical videos (Reels, Shorts) for Instagram and YouTube
Use tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
Add effects, captions, transitions, and music to make content engaging
Work with our videographer to direct shoots and ensure raw footage matches the vision

Social Media Management

Schedule and publish content across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn etc
Write compelling captions and engage with the audience (comments, DMs)
Track post performance and suggest optimizations
Ensure brand consistency across all platforms

Trend Spotting & Innovation

Stay updated on social media trends, memes, and formats
Identify opportunities to connect trends with our brands
Experiment with new content formats and analyze what works

Collaboration

Coordinate with the marketing team to align content with ad campaigns
Work with designers and videographers to produce high-quality assets
Present ideas and performance updates in weekly team reviews

Who You Are

Skills & Experience

Video editing skills – You can edit 30–90 second Reels and Shorts that stop the scroll. Share your portfolio of edited videos.
Content planning ability – You can think of 10+ content ideas a week without being told. You understand how to plan for themes, occasions, and product launches.
Trend awareness – You know what's working on Instagram and YouTube right now. You follow creators, save trending audios, and can spot a viral format before it peaks.
Strong communication – You can write engaging captions and respond to comments in a brand-aligned voice.
Self-starter mindset – You don't wait for instructions. You take ownership of the content calendar and proactively suggest improvements.

Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

Experience with Canva or Photoshop for basic graphic creation
Comfortable being on camera (not required, but a plus)
Understanding of the gifting, e-commerce, or D2C industry
Basic knowledge of Meta Ads Manager or Google Analytics
Experience managing multiple brands or clients
