Deep, hands‑on software development experience in at least one of Go, Java, or Python (with the ability to work across others when needed)

5+ years of professional experience as a Software / Application Development Engineer, with substantial time spent writing and maintaining production code

Demonstrated ability to lead by example through code, not just design or reviews

Proven experience designing, building, and owning:
- Backend services and APIs

Shared libraries, frameworks, or internal platforms

Scalable, reliable, distributed systems

Strong command of:
- Core software design principles (OOP, SOLID, clean architecture, modular design)

Scalability, performance optimization, and fault tolerance

Strong foundation in:
- Data structures, algorithms, and problem‑solving

Experience owning features or systems through the full lifecycle:
- Technical design and reviews
