Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Open Enterprise (OE) SCADA professional with 8–10 years of hands-on expertise in designing, configuring, and supporting Open Enterprise SCADA systems in enterprise and industrial environments.
The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of Open Enterprise architecture, data acquisition, alarm management, historian, reporting, and system integrations, along with proven experience in troubleshooting and optimizing OE-based solutions. Strong exposure to integration with field devices (PLCs, RTUs) and industrial communication protocols is essential.
The role primarily focuses on the end-to-end lifecycle management of Open Enterprise systems, including implementation, maintenance, enhancement, and production support. While the emphasis is on Open Enterprise, familiarity with other SCADA platforms, Emerson ecosystem, and PLC-based automation systems will be an added advantage.
The candidate will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and seamless integration across operational technologies, while supporting critical business and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, implement, and support Open Enterprise SCADA systems.
Provide L2/L3 support for Open Enterprise SCADA applications
The candidate will also be responsible for handling incident, change, and problem management through ServiceNow, ensuring structured tracking, resolution, and compliance with IT service management processes.
Handle application maintenance and production support activities
Support Aqua Advanced application and Lomond system knowledge
Perform system monitoring, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and service improvements
Work on SCADA integrations with field devices, PLCs, RTUs, and third-party systems.
Analyze system issues, identify root causes, and provide timely resolution.
Support system upgrades, monthly patching activities on IaaS, migration, and enhancements. Ensure system stability post-patching through validation and health checks
Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks:

ISO 27001
Configure and manage alarms, trends, reports, graphics, and communication interfaces in Open Enterprise.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and project teams for delivery and support activities.
Provide expert Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for all applications, including bespoke, BI, and integration systems.
Work with Emerson / industrial automation systems and ensure integration with SCADA platforms.
Interface with different PLC systems for data acquisition, control logic understanding, and troubleshooting.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, support documents, and KT materials.
Participate in testing activities including FAT, SAT, UAT, and production deployment support.
Provide technical guidance to junior team members and support knowledge transfer activities.
Required Skills & Experience
8–10 years of experience in SCADA systems, with strong hands-on experience in Open Enterprise SCADA.
Good knowledge of SCADA architecture, communication protocols, and control systems.
Experience in Open Enterprise configuration, system administration, troubleshooting, and support.
Exposure to other SCADA platforms such as Wonderware, iFIX, WinCC, Citect, ClearSCADA, Geo SCADA, or similar.
Working knowledge of Emerson systems / industrial automation platforms.
Good understanding of PLC systems such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or similar.
Experience in industrial communication protocols such as:
o Modbus
o OPC
o DNP3
o IEC 60870-5-101/104
o BACnet (if applicable)
Understanding of RTUs, telemetry systems, HMI, historian, alarms, and events.
Experience in system integration, field connectivity, and interface troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Windows server environment, networking basics, and system performance monitoring.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
