The Lead Document Controller is responsible for managing all technical documentation flow between Pall, Vendors and Client.

This position reports to the Global Shared Service and Program Manager and is part of the Global Program Management Team located in Pune India and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Lead Global Technical Document Control team
To manage all technical documentation flow of the engineering, project management, procurement in order to ensure documents control within Company standards.
Develop and improve documentation management system (VAULT)
To manage team to make sure that deliverable documentation meet customer requirements.
Associate reported to DC Lead are expected to work autonomously under its control.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Reviews of Vendor and Customer documents to comply with submission requirements.
Ensure integrity of revisions of technical documentation and delivery of global labeling and content.
Interacts with other department on their expected workload and distributes it to the document controllers.
Receives any query or claim for customers and responds with the right action plan.
Supports other Team members by providing them with necessary training as per their development plan.
Holds the daily action review meeting. Responsible for all Visual Mgmt. and Daily Mgmt. tools update, display and distribution. Implementation and developing standard work

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical or Equivalent ore relevant fields) with 8-10 yrs of experience or Graduation/Diploma (Technical Writing or Mechanical or relevant fields) with 13-14 yrs of experience
Min 5-6 years experience as Technical Document Control Team Leader
Proficiency in MS Office and document creation tools like MS Office – Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Outlook.
Basic knowledge about ISO 9001 quality system
Experience in working on document Management Software.
Ability to read/write Technical Drawings is a plus.
Knowledge of Vault is a plus
Excellent communication skills (English)
