We’re seeking someone to join our Investment Management team as a Java Development Lead to work on Java Application Development and Designing with good exposure on Java, Spring boot and microservices frontend will be added advantage.

What you’ll do in the role:
- Trade Service Layer (TSL) for MSIM is a platform which trade flow from Trading systems to Back officed used in MSIM. TSL is being used in trading, accounting, reporting systems. It manages the trade flow from all the MSIM trading systems and other cash flow process as well.
- ETF Fund Service for MSIM is ETF trade flow management platform. This system manages the intraday order process and end of day transaction, holdings and Basket process.
- TWMS for MSIM is a Fund in Fund trade execution, settlement process system. It manages the Fund-in-Fund trade from Trading Systems and send execution to Transfer Agent and Custodians.
The person will get involved in the strategic discussion with business stack holders and pave a path for team to design, develop, and test multi-tier systems and components across the above platforms. He/She will provide Trade flow support for Asian and European Market, also need to lead small developer team to deliver project.
Strong interpersonal skills and good team spirit is required in addition to proficiency in verbal and written business communication. This job demands strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple priorities. As part of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing a body of knowledge that is accessible to all team members, clients, board members and employees. They must be available and willing to listen to any problems team members may face and help them to overcome any obstacles.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Additional Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience working in Agile Teams. Deep understanding of Trade STP process for Equity, Fixed Income and other Derivatives products.
- Familiarity with standard devops tools, Jenkins, Sonar, Jira
- Knowledge of financial technologies (e.g. FpML, Swift protocol) and business applications
- Implementation experience in Cloud Based platforms will be a plus.
