Full job description

Job Title: Website Development Intern

Location: Trivandrum (On-site)
Job Type: Internship
Duration: 1-3 Months (Extendable based on performance)

About the Internship

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Website Development Intern to join our development team. This internship provides hands-on experience in website design, front-end development, website maintenance, and web application development. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in web technologies and a willingness to learn and work on live projects.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining websites and web applications.
Work on website layouts, responsive designs, and user interface improvements.
Develop web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
Test websites across different devices and browsers.
Update website content and troubleshoot technical issues.
Collaborate with designers and developers to implement project requirements.
Optimize websites for performance, speed, and user experience.
Learn and follow industry best practices in web development.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
Understanding of website structure, hosting, and domain concepts.
Familiarity with Bootstrap, jQuery, WordPress, or similar technologies is an advantage.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong willingness to learn new technologies and development practices.
Candidates must have their own laptop.

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a Website Development, Web Designing, Computer Science, Software Development, or related course.
Knowledge of backend development technologies such as PHP, MySQL, Laravel, Node.js, Python, ASP.NET, or similar frameworks will be an added advantage.
Experience with Git, version control systems, or personal web development projects is a plus.
Portfolio, GitHub profile, or sample websites developed will be an added advantage.
