Role Overview:
The Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition will be responsible for managing end-toend recruitment for the WISE (Work Integrated Skills Education) segment of Medhavi Skills University. The role involves hiring across academic, operations, sales, partnerships, and corporate functions while ensuring speed, quality, and cultural alignment. The incumbent will work closely with hiring managers and leadership to support rapid growth and workforce planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Recruitment
-
Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from manpower requisition to onboarding.

Coordinate with department heads to understand workforce requirements and hiring priorities.

Draft and refine job descriptions aligned with functional needs.
-
Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, consultants, and internal databases.

Conduct preliminary screenings and coordinate interview processes.
-
Ensure defined Turnaround Time (TAT) for position closures.
2. Salary Negotiation & Offer Management
-
Conduct compensation benchmarking and align salary proposals with internal budgets.
-
Lead salary negotiations with selected candidates to ensure cost-effectiveness and acceptance ratio optimization.

Draft Offer Letters (OL) as per organizational policy.
-
Coordinate pre-joining engagement to minimize offer dropouts.
3. Documentation & Verification
-
Verify candidate documentation including educational qualifications, experience letters, salary proofs, ID proofs, and other statutory documents.

Ensure compliance with university hiring policies and documentation standards.

Coordinate background verification (if applicable) and onboarding formalities.
4. HRMS Onboarding & Employee Record Creation
-
Create and update employee profiles in the HRMS system.
-
Ensure accuracy of personal, compensation, and reporting details.

Coordinate with Payroll and HR Operations for seamless salary processing.
-
Support smooth onboarding experience including joining formalities and induction coordination.
5. Strategic Hiring for WISE Segment

Support hiring for roles across WISE
-
Develop talent pipelines for volume hiring and critical positions.

Conduct competitor and industry mapping for lateral talent acquisition.
6. Process Management
-
Provide regular recruitment dashboards and status updates to your manager.

Manage hiring manager expectations and drive structured interview evaluations.

Support audit and compliance requirements related to recruitment.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
-
3–6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in Education, EdTech, Staffing, or Skill Development sectors.

Experience in both bulk hiring and mid-level lateral hiring.
-
Exposure to academic and field sales hiring preferred.

MBA/PGDM in HR or relevant qualification preferred.
