We are searching for a committed, deadline-driven sales intern to join our excellent sales team. The sales intern will complete all tasks assigned by the manager, which may include conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, managing email campaigns, generating sales leads, making cold calls, participating in meetings, and assisting the Sales department wherever possible. You should be able to take instruction but also work unsupervised when required.
To be successful as a sales intern, you should be willing to learn as much about the company as possible and be able to spot opportunities that have been overlooked by others. Outstanding sales interns are problem solvers who know the value of building lasting, professional relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new leads through research, cold calling, emails, and networking
Support the sales team in pitching products/services to potential clients
Conduct initial client outreach and schedule meetings or demos
Maintain and update CRM with leads, interactions, and sales progress
Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and quotations
Follow up with prospects and nurture leads through the sales funnel
Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) for smooth deal execution
Track sales targets and report performance metrics
Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and customer needs
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Basic understanding of sales processes and customer lifecycle
Comfortable with cold calling and client interactions
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Goal-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
Internship or prior experience in sales/business development
Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)
Basic negotiation and presentation skills
