Position: Assistant Technician (Fitter)
We are looking for a skilled and reliable ITI Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems, machines, and equipment as per technical drawings and specifications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Perform fitting and assembly operations for machinery parts and components.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical systems.
- Ensure alignment, accuracy, and quality during installation and fabrication.
- Operate tools and machines such as drilling, grinding, cutting, and welding equipment.
- Maintain tools, machines, and the work area in good condition.
- Follow safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support other departments in machine setup and breakdown maintenance as required.
Key Skills:
- ITI Fitter certification from a recognized institute (mandatory).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (fresher may also be considered).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a factory or workshop environment
