About the Role
We are looking for a WordPress Web Developer with 6 months to 1 year of experience who is passionate about building high-quality, responsive, and performance-driven websites. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in WordPress development, WooCommerce, and front-end technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Build responsive and user-friendly websites using WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Divi.
- Develop custom layouts using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
- Implement WooCommerce functionality, including product setup, payment gateways, shipping configurations, and order management.
- Ensure websites are optimized for speed, SEO, security, and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers and team members to deliver pixel-perfect websites.
- Troubleshoot website issues and perform regular maintenance and updates.
Required Skills
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in WordPress website development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Hands-on experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce website development.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Experience working with WordPress page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.
- Basic knowledge of website hosting, cPanel, FTP, and domain management.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Added Advantage
- Knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
- Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types, and WordPress theme customization.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Knowledge of Shopify website management and customization.
- Portfolio showcasing live websites, freelance projects, internships, or academic projects.
