Job Description:
· · Design and drafting of Parts and assemblies using latest SolidWorks software.
· Solve design related issues in co-ordination from other departments
· · Co-ordinate with Vendor & Production Team in drawing related issues
· On time issuing of the drawing & design to the concern Department.
· Ability to travel when required.
· Willing to learn and grow
· Experience in SPM (Special purpose machines).
· Experienced in identifying and selecting appropriate standard machine components like gearboxes, motors, bearings, LM guide rails, ball screws, and servos.
· Requires expertise in fabrication and welding methods.
§ Key Responsibilities:
1. Concept Development:
- Brainstorm and develop initial design concepts based on project requirements or client needs.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed schematics and prototypes.
2. Design and Analysis
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for components or systems.
- Perform simulations and analyses to test the feasibility, strength, and performance of designs.
- Optimize designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
3. Prototyping and Testing:
- Develop prototypes or models to test design concept
- Conduct experiments and tests to validate design performance and functionality.
- Analyses test results and make necessary design modifications.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Communicate design ideas and modifications to team members and clients.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure designs can be produced as intended.
5. Documentation:
- Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, technical reports, and user manuals.
- Maintain records of design iterations and changes.
6. Project Management:
- Manage design projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure that designs are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
7. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Stay updated with relevant codes and standards.
