Xplora Getaways is seeking a target-driven Travel Telesales Executive to manage travel package enquiries and convert them into confirmed tour bookings through effective phone & PC -based sales.
The role involves handling qualified leads from digital campaigns, understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable domestic and international packages, and closing sales through consistent follow-ups. The executive will also coordinate with the operations team post-booking to ensure smooth service delivery.
Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills, sales focus and the ability to maintain high conversion ratios.
Candidates open to corporate or field visits in and around Trivandrum will be considered for senior-level roles.
Key Responsibilities – Travel Telesales Executive
- Handle and follow up on leads from digital campaigns through calls and messaging.
- Understand customer travel requirements and recommend suitable domestic and international tour packages.
- Clearly communicate itineraries, pricing, inclusions and key details to drive decision-making.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and consistently achieve monthly sales targets.
- Prepare customized proposals and quotations aligned to client preferences.
- Coordinate with the operations team for pricing, availability and booking validation.
- Ensure smooth handover of confirmed bookings for execution.
- Maintain regular follow-ups, update CRM accurately and track lead status.
- Promote seasonal offers, group departures and special packages while building strong customer relationships.
Requirements – Travel Telesales Executive
- 2–5 years of experience in travel/tour package sales or a similar telesales role
- Good communication, persuasion, and basic negotiation skills
- Strong sales aptitude with a target-driven mindset and the ability to convert enquiries into bookings
- Basic knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations (preferred)
- Working knowledge of MS Office, email, CRM tools, and WhatsApp communication
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Hindi and Malayalam is highly preferred
- Fair understanding of the travel and tourism industry, with a willingness to continuously learn and upgrade knowledge
- High level of personal integrity with a logical, customer-first approach—treating every lead with care and utmost responsibility
- Positive attitude, consistent follow-up discipline, and a strong learning mindset to thrive in a dynamic sales environment
