Full job description

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will drive company growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting our IT services portfolio. The ideal candidate should possess strong sales capabilities, client-handling skills, and a good understanding of technology-driven business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Market Development

Identify and research new business opportunities within the IT sector.
Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, industry events, and professional platforms.
Assist in developing strategies to penetrate new markets and industry segments.
Support expansion initiatives within existing client accounts.

2. Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Understand client business requirements and coordinate with technical teams to propose suitable IT solutions.
Act as a point of contact for client communications and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Follow up regularly with clients to nurture long-term partnerships.

3. Sales Strategy & Execution

Execute business development and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Present company services and solutions to clients through meetings, calls, and presentations.
Prepare proposals, business documents, and commercial discussions.
Support negotiations and closure of deals.

4. Coordination & Internal Collaboration

Work closely with delivery and technical teams for smooth project handovers.
Communicate client expectations clearly to internal stakeholders.
Provide client feedback to improve service offerings.

5. Industry Awareness

Stay updated with current IT trends such as AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, IoT, and enterprise solutions.
Research competitor offerings and market positioning.

6. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM systems.
Track sales pipeline and report progress to the reporting manager.
Assist in preparing sales forecasts and performance reports.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

1–4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Acquisition in IT services.
Experience in software development services, mobile/web app solutions, or IT consulting is preferred.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of IT services and technology solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to explain technical solutions in business-friendly terms.
Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and MS Office tools.
