The Ideal Candidate: "The Data Detective"
We aren’t just looking for someone to input data into a spreadsheet. We want a detective—someone with a deep, inherent curiosity about retail and marketing data who consistently asks:
- What is happening in our sales and marketing trends?
- Why is it happening? (Root cause analysis of performance spikes or drops)
- How do we resolve it or capitalize on it? (Actionable solutions)
Key Responsibilities
- Data Synthesis: Clean, organize, and manage large datasets from e-commerce platforms and marketing channels.
- Trend Analysis: Identify behavioral patterns, consumer trends, and operational insights to drive business decision-making.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Maintain and build performance tracking sheets and visual dashboards using advanced formulas.
- Problem Solving: Actively flag data anomalies, investigate root causes, and propose data-backed solutions.
- Collaboration: Clearly translate complex datasets into simple insights and present reports to internal stakeholders.
Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills (Must-Have)
- Advanced Excel: Absolute proficiency in Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested IF formulas, conditional formatting, and data cleaning.
- Data Visualization: Ability to build clean, intuitive charts and basic performance dashboards.
