Role Description
- As a Vice President, you will be a senior contributor supporting the production, analytical review, and governance of Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) , Supplementary Leverage Ratio (SLR) , and Single Counterparty Credit Limits (SCCL) regulatory reporting.
- This is a highly interactive, team-based process . You will work closely day-to-day with the team, partnering to resolve data questions, complete reconciliations, develop variance explanations, and prepare materials for management review and sign-off.

Your key responsibilities
Regulatory capital reporting delivery (RWA / SLR / SCCL)
- Support the preparation, review, and submission of regulatory capital deliverables and governance materials for RWA / SLR / SCCL in close partnership with key stakeholders.
- Execute complex reconciliations and analytical reviews to ensure alignment across reporting outputs, including investigation of data discrepancies, root-cause documentation, and maintenance of a clear audit trail of analysis and decisions.
- Prepare quarterly and month-end analytics, variance explanations, and management-ready materials that clearly articulate drivers of RWA/SLR/SCCL movements and linkages to regulatory capital metrics (e.g., CET1 / Tier 1 / Total capital ratios and leverage measures).
- Coordinate closely with Technology, Data, Finance, and Risk partners to ensure controlled, timely delivery, including support for testing/UAT where calculation logic, mappings, or data pipelines change.
Regulatory change, governance, and stakeholder engagement
- Analyze the impact of proposed and final regulatory rule changes on reporting and processes; contribute to translating requirements into sustainable reporting, controls, and operating model enhancements.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Audit, Finance Project Office, Business Operations, Technology) and external constituencies (e.g., regulators, auditors, consultants) as needed
- Prepare and present periodic analytics and key messages for governance forums and senior management reviews, ensuring content is accurate, defensible, and aligned with agreed narrative and evidence standards.
Process improvement and leadership
- Lead or actively participate in process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and control effectiveness, leveraging tools such as SAP, PowerQuery and AI (or comparable tooling).
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a strong collaborative culture, operating effectively in a global model with frequent interaction and shared deliverables across time zones.
Your skills and experience
- 7+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, regulatory capital, or closely related Finance/Risk disciplines within a Global Investment Bank or similarly complex financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory capital frameworks and RWA methodologies (Standardized / IRBA concepts), with understanding of leverage/SLR concepts and large exposure / SCCL reporting expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret ambiguous regulatory guidelines, resolve complex data discrepancies, and develop practical solutions with a strong documentation and controls mindset.
- Experience with financial data aggregation and reporting tooling (e.g., FDW, Axiom, or similar platforms), including the ability to trace data lineage from source to reported output.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in common applications (Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to build clear, management-ready analysis and commentary under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in tools like SAP, Python, PowerQuery, Tableau or similar data analytics / automation platforms is highly valued.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA, MBA, or advanced degree beneficial.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking - an ability to take a long-term view on shaping the department's strategic vision in a way that is consistent with the CFO and the Bank's broader strategic agenda.
