Your Role as a Sports Preschool Educator:
As a Sports Preschool Educator, you will play a vital role in promoting physical development, confidence, and teamwork among young learners. Through fun, structured, and age-appropriate activities, you will help children build strong motor skills and develop a love for movement and sports. Your key responsibilities include:
- Planning and conducting engaging sports and movement sessions for preschool children (2–6 years).
- Designing activities that build balance, coordination, strength, flexibility, and teamwork.
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and energetic environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Integrating play-based sports activities aligned with the preschool curriculum.
- Preparing and organizing sports equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Observing and supporting children’s physical development and gross motor skills.
- Collaborating with class teachers and leadership to support events like Sports Day, Annual Day, and special activities.
- Encouraging positive sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork among children.
- Maintaining basic records of activities and participation.
- Upholding Dibber’s educational philosophy and child-first approach at all times.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking energetic and passionate individuals who love working with young children and believe in the power of play and movement in early childhood development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate in Physical Education / Early Childhood Education / Psychology or related field.
- Experience working with preschool or early primary children preferred.
- Freshers with strong interest in sports and early years are welcome to apply.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication skills – Ability to engage warmly with children and collaborate with staff and parents.
- High energy and enthusiasm – Ability to lead active sessions with young children.
- Strong classroom and activity management skills.
- Creativity & innovation – Ability to design fun, age-appropriate sports activities.
- Patience and nurturing approach with young learners.
- Safety awareness and responsibility during physical activities.
- Basic computer skills for planning and documentation (preferred).
