Full job description

Senior Business and Support Analyst(Algorithmic Trading)

The hours for this position are: 4:00 am – 1:30 pm IST

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide trading related technical and analytical support to global multi-asset clients
Develop an understanding and thereafter guide clients about working of trading algorithms and transaction cost analysis
Monitor and support the production trading environments
Liaise with Application Developers to find resolutions for reported software problems and to ensure that change requests are managed effectively
Implement, test, and certify FIX connections between clients and vendors
Install and configure software platform to client specifications
Manage and implement roll-outs and upgrades of our advanced financial trading system

Experience/Skills:

5-10 years previous experience with electronic trading operations and capital markets is required.
Familiarity with FIX and algorithmic trading is highly desirable, but not required.
Must have an interest in financial markets and trading.
A degree in finance, computing, engineering or sciences with good grades and from a top university is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Good computing skills. Experience with SQL will be a plus.
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
A highly organized and systematic approach to learning and work.
Strong command of spoken and written English. The position involves extensive interaction with teams in London and New York and good communication skills are a prerequisite.

This position requires candidates with exceptional technical, analytical and communication skills and provides ample opportunity for growth. Bachelors/Masters degree in a scientific major is preferred.
