Job Description Overview:
This position will be working closely with Quality & cross functional team.
This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills, including proactive problem solving. As part of the Quality organization our team will be expected to offer suggestions and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives related to quality management processes. Other tasks may be added to responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- New Product Introduction Planning: Develop and implement detailed plans for the introduction of new products, including timelines, budget estimates, and resource allocation.
- Purchasing Management: Oversee the procurement of materials and components required for new product launches, ensuring quality standards and cost-efficiency.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains and negotiate favorable terms. Cost/Quality/Delivery
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, production, marketing, and finance teams to align NPI activities with overall business objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the NPI process and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth product launches.
- Working with cross functional teams to transfer processes and products from NPI to production or to other facilities.
- Project Planning: Assign project planning tasks to NPI planners, ensuring they develop detailed schedules and track progress against milestones.
- Procurement Activities: Delegate procurement responsibilities to purchasing staff, including placing orders, tracking shipments, and resolving supply issues.
- Supplier Coordination: Allocate supplier relationship management to designated team members, ensuring regular communication and performance reviews.
- Reporting: Designate team members to prepare regular reports on NPI progress, budget status, and supplier performance for review by senior management.
- On-Time Delivery: Ensure that new products are delivered within the planned timeframe.
- Cost Control: Manage budgets effectively and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and availability.
- Work as project manager for project transfers, must be able to use Gannt chart.
- Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
- Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
- Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
- Communicating with cross functional teams and management to keep the project aligned with their goals and document them with Therm-x process.
- Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
- Consistently work on complex assignments requiring independent action and initiative to resolve issues.
- Participate in ISO audits to make sure QMS activities are always followed.
- Responsible analyze the data to see cost reduction opportunities.
- Other responsibilities related to projects or processes will be defined by the manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational/Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, supply chain or engineering field is Plus
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Planning or Project management role
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
Skills
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customers and personal services. This includes assessment of customer needs, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Communicate with clear verbal and written instructions in English. Spanish is plus
- Work independently, recognize and resolve problems
- Communicate and work cooperatively with Managers, Supervisors, Trainers, Quality and Human Resources personnel on all aspects of training schedule and record-Keeping.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Good, demonstrated customer service skills, presentation skills, computer skills, interpersonal and human relations skills.
- Must have a strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment, changing priorities and high volume of workload.
Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

- Andheri, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
