Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Design Lead with strong expertise in board design, embedded hardware development, and full product deployment cycles. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing high-performance hardware platforms based on SoCs, FPGAs, CPLDs, and MPSoCs, along with a deep understanding of signal integrity, EMI/EMC compliance, and product validation.
The candidate will be responsible for driving complete hardware product development from architecture definition to manufacturing support and field deployment while collaborating closely with firmware, software, validation, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end hardware product development from concept, architecture, design, validation, manufacturing, and deployment.
- Design and analyze complex digital, analog, and power electronic circuits.
- Develop board-level designs based on SoCs, FPGAs, CPLDs, and MPSoC architectures.
- Perform schematic capture, design reviews, DC drop analysis, signal integrity analysis, and hardware validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC requirements and high-speed design best practices.
- Drive board bring-up, debugging, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with firmware and software teams during hardware integration and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with PCB layout, mechanical, SI, EMC, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
- Source and procure electronic components, PCBs, and mechanical parts for embedded and IoT products.
- Prepare hardware design documents, validation plans, test procedures, and technical reports.
- Define validation methodologies, test equipment requirements, and test automation strategies.
- Support manufacturing readiness, production planning, pricing models, logistics, and vendor management activities.
- Participate in cross-functional design reviews and product release activities.
Mandatory RequirementsEducation
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), or Information Technology (IT).
Experience
- 10–12 years of experience in hardware board design and system hardware engineering.
- Proven experience in complete product development and deployment cycles.
- Successfully delivered at least two hardware products from design concept to final deployment.
