Senior Manager - Investments (Middle Office Operations – IBOR )

As an Investment Middle Office Operations – IBOR you will manage all stages of the investment lifecycle involved in producing our Investment Book of Record (IBOR). The IBOR delivers a single, accurate view of investment portfolios, serving as the foundation for various dynamic position views used by front-office teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of the IBOR, providing exceptional service to the business. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, external service providers, and Sub-Investment Managers to promptly resolve any issues and maintain client satisfaction.
We will count on you to:
Monitor daily IBOR output delivered by an external service provide
Provide support as the primary lead / first level escalation contact for resolution of exceptions in IBOR operations.
Validate positions, trades, valuations and pricing to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness
Review exception reports and investigate discrepancies between IBOR vs external custodian records vs internal source systems
Identify & resolve the primary reasons for day-over-day position or market value movements.
Validate projected vs actual cashflows and escalate significant variances to external service provide and internal teams
Provide ownership and/or oversight of the various components of the daily operational activities essential to the validation of data sets within the IBOR
Works with regional operations team to ensure timely, accurate delivery and seamless integration within a 'follow the sun' model
Create and maintains robust standard operating policies (SOPs), procedures and guidelines to meet corporate risk and control standards and principles
Seeks opportunities and takes ownership of initiatives to improve service levels and improved efficiency metrics
Builds solid and interactive internal relationships with our global operations, client, investment, data, technology teams and external service provider to manage the entire IBOR service delivery.
What you will need to have:
12+ Years of relevant experience
Previous Funds & Asset Management experience within a leading Administrator and/or Fund Manager.
Detailed knowledge of Fund vehicles (Public & Private Funds), Equity securities, Fixed Income securities, OTC instruments / Exchange Traded Derivatives other financial instruments
Experience of Investment Operations (Trades, Cash and Reconciliations)
Experience of Reconciliations and transaction lifecycle management
Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues
Assist in testing when required and prepare findings for sign offBe responsible for reviewing/signing of (Maker/Checker) daily BAU activity
Ability to manage team mailboxes and be comfortable in providing timely responses
