Job Title: Senior Sales Professional – Electrical / Switchgear Products

Location: Coimbatore (Candidate should be from Coimbatore or willing to relocate)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Electrical Sales Professional with a strong background in Switchgear products. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of proven experience in technical sales, business development, and key account management within the electrical/switchgear industry, particularly in the Coimbatore market.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales of switchgear and electrical products in the Coimbatore region, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients, consultants, contractors, and distributors.
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training for customers to position our solutions effectively.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities to support strategic decisions.
Prepare and negotiate commercial offers, proposals, and contracts in line with company policies.
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, logistics, finance) to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction.
Provide regular market feedback and reports to management for business planning.

Key Skills Competencies

Deep Technical Product Knowledge – Thorough understanding of LV/MV switchgear products, panels, and related electrical systems.
Industry Market Awareness – Knowledge of Coimbatore and surrounding industrial markets, customer segments, and competitors.
Strong Commercial Negotiation Acumen – Ability to structure deals, negotiate effectively, and close sales profitably.
Resilience Self-Motivation – High level of drive, ability to work independently, and perseverance in challenging sales environments.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications Experience

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering (preferred).
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales of electrical/switchgear products, preferably with leading brands or panel builders.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the Coimbatore market or similar regions.
