Full job description

We are looking for Center Coordinator who is warm, quick learner, will be incharge of the daily functioning of the preschool, teaching, incharge of recruitment and admission counselling. Will be target based, converting enquiries into admission. This is a full time job. Share your resume to us at: [email protected]

Timings : Monday to Friday - 8.30 am to 6pm.
Saturdays - 8.30 am to 1.30 pm.

Reporting to Center Director / Co-Founder.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that a safe, hygienic and healthy environment is provided to the kids and staff.
Work closely with the preschool Teachers to oversee all aspects of classroom program planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the center’s appropriate practices.
Quick learner who will be responsible for the daily functioning of the preschool, recruitment and admission counselling . Will be target based, converting enquiries into admission.
Interviewing prospective candidates for respective positions through Internal Job Posting.
Conducting performance reviews and performance review conversations of all preschool classroom teachers during the time of appraisal.
Supervise use of physical space so that classrooms, common areas and playgrounds are clean and safe.
Provide an attractive and welcoming environment in which learning is made visible through children’s art work or displays that promote a child’s self-esteem.
Provide oversight to assure that these experiences are positive ones.
Guides teachers for creation of assessment, report cards, diary writing, portfolios etc.,
Observe and guide teachers on a daily basis.
Actively participate in regularly scheduled administrative team meetings to address Health and safety, facilities, operations, human resources or other concerns.
Keep staff apprised of professional development opportunities.
Assess group training needs for the center teachers and communicate with Center Director.
Perform formative and summative assessments and contribute to the development of assessment strategies and arrangements for the key learning areas.
Highlight any developmental delays and adopt the inclusive practices to support each and every child in their learning journey after consultation with the Center Director/ Co-founder.
Lesson planning and the activities to be planned & reviewed before the start of the week, such that it engages the child in a fun and exploratory learning journey, as per the AEL curriculum.
Brings in innovative methodologies, new insights and practices in lesson plan delivery facilitating improvement in the learning process.
Regularly attend trainings/workshops and read journals to keep abreast on current developments in area of expertise.
Share timely feedback with the teachers on the curriculum design if changes needed, appropriateness, relatability to the learner to ensure that the curriculum is contemporary at all the times.
Ensure the classroom is well maintained, visually appealing to the learners and aligned with the theme of the month as per AEL curriculum.
Maintaining Classroom documentation along with daily observation/anecdotes for the children, as per AEL Curriculum guidelines.
Enforce all administration policies and rules.
Store, maintain, enhance the inventory and educational materials of the classroom.
Ideate, plan and execute events, trips, celebrations for special occasions along with colleagues, as per the Preschool Calendar.
Work as a team player whilst acting as a role model for the team and staff by exemplifying the right / AEL values and code of conduct, for all activities.
Should maintain a healthy and strong communication with parents throughout.

Work Experience:

Total work: 1 year (Preferred)

Required Education:

(Preferable) Graduate / Post Graduate candidates.
Preference to women candidates with relevant certifications in Early Childhood Care and Education and/or Nursery Teacher Training or Montessori Teacher Training.

Required skills:

Language: Should be fluent in English. Familiar with Kannada (Optional)
Soft Skills: Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills; amicable personality and a love for children.
