Manager | SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling | Kolkata

Your work profile

Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, and transformation programs.
Conduct workshops with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and design SAP solutions.
Design and configure SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
Configure SAP CO components such as Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
Drive integration of SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP, and other modules to ensure seamless financial postings.
Lead solution design, prepare functional specifications, and manage RICEF development with technical teams.
Manage full project lifecycle including blueprinting, realization, testing (SIT/UAT), go-live, and hypercare support.
Oversee financial closing processes, reporting structures, and compliance requirements.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices aligned with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
Manage client relationships, stakeholder communication, and solution sign-offs.
Mentor junior consultants and ensure high-quality delivery within timelines.
Contribute to practice development, knowledge sharing, and capability building initiatives.

Key skills required

8–10 years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP FICO (FI & CO).
Hands-on experience in 3–5 full lifecycle SAP implementations, preferably in S/4HANA environments.
Strong understanding of:

o Financial Accounting (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting)

o Controlling (Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, CO-PA)

o Financial Closing, Reporting & Compliance

Experience in integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
Strong knowledge of finance processes including procure-to-pay (P2P) and order-to-cash (O2C).
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (Universal Journal, Parallel Ledger, Margin Analysis preferred).
Ability to prepare functional specifications and work with ABAP teams.
Experience in data migration, testing cycles, and post go-live support.
Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile tools (Jira/Confluence) preferred.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
Prior consulting/client-facing experience preferred.
