Primary Responsibilities Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 10–12 years of hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and implementing BMC Helix solutions aligned with enterprise business and IT strategy. Own end-to-end BMC Helix platform architecture, including: Incident, Problem, and Change Management CMDB and Asset Management Knowledge Management Service Request Management Digital Workplace ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Service Mapping, Monitoring, and Event Management Define solution architecture, system landscapes, and deployment models (SaaS / Hybrid). Design scalable, resilient, and high-availability architectures considering: Performance, Security, Compliance, Future growth, Provide architectural governance and ensure adherence to: Industry best practices ITIL standards Organizational governance and compliance requirements Lead the design and governance of workflows, runbooks, automations, and service catalogs. Define and architect ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping, including: Agent-based and agent-less discovery patterns Infrastructure, cloud, and application discovery CI classification, normalization, and reconciliation End to end business service modeling and dependency mapping Ensure tight alignment between ITOM, CMDB, and ITSM processes for impact analysis and root cause identification. Define a secure and auditable data migration architecture, covering: Historical and active ITSM records CMDB data, classes, and relationships Asset and financial data Knowledge base content and metadata Oversee data migration execution, validation, reconciliation, and final sign-offs. Analyze existing ServiceNow or legacy ITSM/ITOM architecture and define: Target state BMC Helix ITSM & ITOM architecture Decommissioning or coexistence approach Architect and govern enterprise integrations, including: Monitoring and APM tools Event Management platforms Discovery sources and data providers Identity and access systems
