Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic, highly networked, and dynamic Territory Manager to spearhead business growth for our ultra-luxury furniture mall and turnkey interior design vertical.
In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue within your assigned territory across two core streams: driving premium retail footfall into our luxury furniture mall and aggressively capturing high-value turnkey interior sales projects (including customized fit-outs, modular wardrobes/kitchens, and complete space styling). You will cultivate relationships with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), elite architects, and luxury real estate developers, leading a team of specialized design and sales consultants to deliver flawless, end-to-end interior transformations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Turnkey Interior Sales & B2B Business Development
- Pitch and secure high-ticket, end-to-end interior design and execution projects for premium residential (villas, penthouses) and commercial spaces.
- Build and leverage a robust network of top-tier architects, interior designers (A&D community), and luxury builders to cross-sell furniture and interior execution packages.
- Act as the strategic consultant for premium clients, understanding their architectural layouts, material preferences, and design lifestyle to offer comprehensive interior solutions.
2. Mall Operations & Retail Sales Management
- Oversee the daily retail and gallery operations of the luxury furniture mall, ensuring visual merchandising meets international luxury standards.
- Track and drive key performance metrics including footfall conversion, average project value, and monthly/quarterly territory revenue targets.
- Ensure a seamless, "white-glove" experiential journey for VIP clients from their initial walk-in to final project delivery.
3. Cross-Functional Project Coordination
- Collaborate closely with in-house interior designers, 3D visualizers, project managers, and execution teams to ensure client presentations (mood boards, BOQs, floor plans) align with luxury expectations.
- Monitor project timelines from design sign-off and material sourcing to site handover, ensuring zero compromise on quality and luxury finishing.
4. Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a dual team of Luxury Furniture Consultants and Interior Sales Specialists.
- Conduct regular training on premium materials (e.g., exotic woods, Italian marble, bespoke leathers), design aesthetics, estimation/BOQ reading, and luxury customer service etiquette.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Experience: 6 to 10 years of proven sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role specifically within turnkey interior sales, high-end modular fit-outs (kitchens/wardrobes), luxury furniture galleries, or premium interior styling.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Luxury Brand Management. A Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture is highly preferred.
- Network: Must possess an active, strong rolodex of premium architects, interior designers, and HNI clients within the assigned territory.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Interior & Architectural Acumen: Strong ability to read floor plans, understand AutoCAD/3D renders, interpret Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and talk technically about interior execution and materials.
- Luxury Sales Mastery: Deep understanding of the psychological nuances and long sales cycles involved in selling premium, multi-million dollar turnkey interior projects to UHNIs.
- Leadership & Drive: Proven track record of managing cross-functional sales and design teams to hit aggressive revenue targets.
- Impeccable Communication: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and grooming standards, with the ability to command respect among elite design professionals and corporate leaders.
