Full job description

Requirement - Surveyor

Location : Calicut, Kerala

Experience : 10 - 12 years

Scope of Work for Inspector & Expeditor

Expeditor Scope

1) Verification of order acknowledgment by vendor and sub vendor

2) Review of PO, MR and expeditor to be acquainted with Data sheet, QAP, Drawing

3) Verification of Sub order status

4) If external engineering agency is deployed by vendor then their details shall be mentioned in Expediting report

5) Expeditor to send agenda to vendor and KOM to be attended

6) Expeditor to collect engineering status & shipping pending issues from Post Order Manager with support from Discipline Project leader

7) Expeditor to get all documents mentioned in Purchase contract

8) Expeditor to expedite for engineering approval of QAP, Drawing, Datasheet, GTP, Procedures

9) Verification of status of in house raw material and status of sub orders

10) Verification of Manufacturing schedule

11) Verification of Progress made

12) Identification of reasons for slippage

13) Providing shipping information

14) Expediting for preliminary packing list

15) Planning of the engineering phases/Mile stones

16) Planning of the procurement phases/Milestones(Procurement, Production, Testing, Dispatch

17) Planning of the inhouse fabrication steps

18) Progress monitoring with reference Delivery Production Schedule

19) Expeditor to get recovery plan in case of delay

20) Expeditor to inform Expected delivery date based on his own experience and production status

21) Expeditor to expedite for Dossier/MRB review/Installation & Operation Manual

22) Expeditor to submit daily Progress Report

Inspector Scope

1) Attending PIM

2) Inspector to ensure availability of Purchase Order, QAP, Drawing, Procedures at the time of inspection

3) Inspector to approve QAP, Performance test procedure, Pressure test procedure, PMI Procedure, PWHT Procedure,

4) Review WPS/PQR/Welder Qualification

5) Qualification of new WPS

6) Inspector to ensure raw material shall be from approved suppliers

7) Inspector to ensure Material test certificates to comply with edition mentioned in MR, Drawing, QAP

8) Inspector to verify calibration record of measuring and testing equipment

9) Stage wise inspection of equipment, Piping bulk items, structures

10) Inspector to ensure availability of statutory certificates for CCOE, CMRI, BS, IBR, NBR,

U stamping as per project requirement and purchase requisition

11) Witness mechanical and chemical, Metallurgical tests at laboratory

12) Fit up check, Weld visual inspection

13) Witness of NDT, Hydrostatic pressure test, Painted surface inspection

14) Witness PWHT

15) Inspector to perform remote inspection in case travel constraint

16) Inspector to check spare items with ref. to BOM

17) Inspector to review as built drawing and test reports

18) Inspector to issue Flash report and Inspection report/IRN

19) Monitoring preparation of MRB during visit at supplier end

20) NCR to be raised for Nonconformity found during inspection.

21) Inspector to send Fortnightly Inspection status

22) Inspector to send 3 months look ahead inspection schedule

Knowledge of casting , G17 Cr-Mo-V5.10, G17 Cr-Mo-5.5
