Full job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering, project management, and a strong understanding of construction standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the planning and design stages of civil engineering projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations for proposed projects.
Design infrastructure systems such as roads, bridges, and utilities using CAD software.
Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
Supervise multidisciplinary teams, including junior engineers, construction managers, and contractors.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.
Perform cost estimations and monitor project expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
Inspect completed projects and recommend repairs or upgrades as needed.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to achieve project goals.
Prepare and present reports on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
State-licensed and certified civil engineer.
Proven experience in managing large construction projects.
Proficiency in civil engineering software, such as Civil 3D and CAD tools.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
In-depth knowledge of construction specifications, standards, and codes.

Preferred Attributes:

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Familiarity with sustainable and eco-friendly construction practices.
